About Galician:

This language is mainly spoken by around 3 million people of Galica, an autonomous community located in the northern western part of Spain. The language is also being spoken in some boarder zones of nearby Spanish regions of Asturias and Castile and Leon as well as the Galican migrants in Spain, United States, Latin America and some parts of Europe. Galician is a Romance language that is closely related to Portuguese language and both share common lyrics. The Galician Language is being regulated in Galica by the Royal Galician Academy but some independent organizations such as the Galician Academy of language see it as a dialect of Galician-Portuguese.
